Jos vaalien ajankohtaa halutaan muuttaa, niin se voidaan tehdä ainoastaan ei seuraavissa, vaan sitä seuraavissa vaaleissa.

Kyllä sivistyneessä maassa pitäisi sentään alamaisten vaalihetkellä tietää kuinka pitkäksi ajaksi valtakirja edustajille annetaan, siis normaalioloissa, sotatilanteessa tietenkin asia on toinen, ei sodan keskellä voida ruveta vaaleja järjestämään, silloin puolustetaan isänmaata, ei kai sentään tulevaisuudessa hyökätä.

Pääministeri Matti Vanhanen ja valtiovarainministeri Jyrki Katainen tekevät korskeudessaan alhaisen tempun suomalaisille, vaalikarjalle. Niinistön omaan saavutusten luetteloon se ei ole jäänyt kummittelemaan, niinkuin ei edes Tobinin veron nauraminen päin naamaa ja sen esittäjien sättiminen. Varjele meitä tältäkin ketkulta, vaikka ihmeitä täytyy tapahtua että hänestä päästäisiin. Ei tarvitsisi mustamaalata, tuotaisiin esille, mitä hän on itse sanonut ja miten on toiminut.

Pääministeri Matti Vanhanen jää historiaan, ei lautakasoista, vaan tietenkin oikeudenkäynnistään ja siitä likaisten temppujen lukumääräennätyksestä, kun ne joskus esille otetaan. Nyt voidaan elää kuin banaanitasavallassa (jokainen käsittäköön sanonnan niinkuin tantoo).

Tänään sitten Uudesta Suomesta löytyi juttu, jossa hyvinkin voisi Afganistanin tilalle kirjoittaa Suomi. Sisältöhän on sama. Perustuslaki on paperia, niinkuin onkin.

Kuva: EPA / All Over PressAfganistanin riippumaton vaalikomissio on siirtänyt tämän vuoden parlamenttivaalit keväästä syksyyn. Alun perin vaalit piti järjestää toukokuussa, mutta nyt uusi ajankohta on syyskuussa, kertovat afganistanilaiset viranomaislähteet.

Vaalien siirto on länsivaltojen mieleen, sillä ne haluavat lisäaikaa ennen vaaleja tehtäville uudistuksille. Uudistusten toivotaan estävän mahdollisen vaalivilpin. Afganistanissa viime vuonna järjestetyt presidentinvaalit kärsivät laajasta vilpistä.

Uutistoimisto Reutersin viranomaislähteen mukaan vaalien uuden ajankohdan taustalla olisi ennen kaikkea vaalien järjestämiseen tarvittavien varojen puute. Afganistanin perustuslain mukaan parlamenttivaalit olisi pitänyt järjestää keväällä.

Tämä ylevä lause siivittäköön seuraavan tekstin.
Satunnaisesti mieleen tulevia otsikoita.

Vaalilaki.

Oikeusministeri Tuija Brax, tuo häikäilemätön sananselittäjä, sanoi jonkun lehden, HS (?), mukaan, että ”tässä uudessa vaalilaissa yksikään ääni ei mene hukkaan”.

Kysymys on siitä vääristymästä ja sen korjaamisesta, kun esimerkkinä ollut Pohjois-Karjalan vaalipiiri on niin pieni, että vihreiden äänet eivät riittäneet yhteenkään paikkaan ja äänet menivät hukkaan. Tätä korvaaman on tarkoitus muuttaa vaalilakia niin, että äänet olisivat menneet yhteiseen kassaan, ja monimutkaisten laskutoimitusten jälkeen esim. Helsingin vihreille tässä esimerkissä. Sdp vastustaa uudistusta ja ehdottaa pienten vaalipiirien suurentamista ja suurten pienentämistä, jolloin eduskuntapaikan saaminen tulisi tasapuolisemmaksi ja mitään lain muutosta, muuta, ei tarvittaisi.

Oikeusministeri Brax unohtaa, tarkoituksellisesti tietenkin sen, että aina ääniä menee hukkaan jos riittävää kannatusta ei ole. Hänen esittämässään järjestelmässä ääniä vasta menisikin hukkaan, kun muutosvaatimuksena on 3:n prosentin äänikynnys ja myös vaaliliittojen kieltäminen, jottei vaan kukaan uusi yrittäjä esim. senioripuolue, piraattipuolue, haistakaa paska koko valtiovalta-puolue, puhumattakaan pienistä kommunistipuolueista vahingossakaan pääsisi eduskuntaan.

Esimerkkinä, jos esim. 3 uutta ryhmää, ajatellaan, että vanhat tuon kynnyksen ylittäisivät, saisivat kukin 2 % äänistä, siis 6 prosenttia äänistä, jotain noin 150 000 ääntä menisi hukkaan. Jos vaalijärjestelmä olisi oikea 6 %:lla pitäisi saada 6 % paikoista, kahdesta sadasta siis 12!

Kirkkaalla naamalla Brax ajaa tällaista mallia ja kehtaa lisäksi esittää, että kun nämä ressukat eivät saaneet 3 % äänistä, niin jos saisivat kuitenkin 2 %, tämä korvattaisiin rahalla, siis rahalla!

Ei kansalaiset ole niin tyhmiä kuin Brax luulee, Brax tekikin työtä jonkunlaisena juoksulikkana isojen härskipuolueiden, kepun ja kokoomuksen suojeluksessa, koska tällaisten uudistusten perimmäinen tarkoitus on betonoida kansanvalta ja eduskunta nykyisille ryhmille, siis suorittaa jonkinlainen hiljainen vallankaappaus, tavoitteena pitkällä tähtäimellä on lennättää myös kielivähemmistö ulos eduskunnasta.

Media on mennyt lankaan kun se laskee, että isot puolueet menettäisivät ja keskikokoiset hyötyisivät, ei tämä ole kuin laskennallista todellisuutta, laskuissa on unohdettu uusien yrittäjien hukkaan menneet äänet, jolloin todellisuudessa isot eivät mitään menettäisi.

Varsinkaan valtaa eivät menetettäisi, samat koaliitiot syntyisivät joka tapauksessa, on nyt niitä paikkoja yksi tai kaksi vähemmän. Tämä on jätetty huomioimatta näissä laskelmissa, valtahan se on jota tavoitellaan.

Helsingin Sanomat ja Ilta-Sanomat ovat hyväksyneet uudet ehdotukset ja kannattaneet niitä. Nämä Sanoma News Oy:n lehdet oivat häikäilemättömissä pääkirjoituksissaan unohtaneet aivan kuin yhteisen salaliiton tuloksena edellä mainitut asiat. Pääkirjoituksissa, joissa ikään kuin selostetaan tätä uutta oikeudenmukaisuutta, on unohdettu äänikynnyksen vaikutus ja vaaliliittojen kieltämisen vaikutus vaalitulokseen.

Jotenkin omituisesti vähätellään sdp:n esittämää vaalipiirijakoa, joka poistaisi tämän Pohjois-Karjala-tragedian ja -trauman.

Onneksi eilen Iltalehti, Almamedian lehti paljasti pääkirjoituksessaan aika tarkkaan mistä on kysymys: Lehden mukaan isot eivät oikeasti edes halua muutosta. Braxille on annettu Mission impossible, jota tämä sähköisen äänestyksen sekoilijaministeri käyttää hyväkseen esiintyessään jonkinlaisena oikeuden enkelinä. Aika kyllä riisuu siivet ja lopulta höyhenetkin, kyllä Brax tulee kynityksi maan rakoon, kunhan tämä huijaus lopulta paljastuu.

Silmänkääntö- ja temppuministeri pilkkaa perustuslakia oikeusministerin valekaavussa!

Oikeusministeri Tuija Brax perustelee vaalilainuudistusta vedoten Suomen perustuslain takaamaan (?) yleiseen ja yhtäläiseen äänioikeuteen. Jollei tätä nykyinen vaalilainsäädäntö takaakaan, mikäpä takaisi, niin ei sitä kuitenkaan iljettävän kirkkaalla ja onnellisella naamalla ja asenteella pidä mennä huonontamaankaan. Kaikki äänikynnykset halventavat demokratiaa. Jos jollain alueella (vaalipiirissä) syntyy kansanliike, joka saisi vaikkapa kolmanneksen sen vaalipiirin äänistä, niin pois pois eduskunnasta näitä sementoituneita ja dementoituneita puolueita kiusaamasta. Ja pienten ryhmien vaaliliitotkin pitäisi kieltää, kun ei muka tiedetä kenelle ääni menee. Kyllä äänestäjä tietää, ettei se ainakaan mene sinne, minne hän ei sitä suurin surminkaan halua. Että tällainen ”oikeusministeri” meillä nyt on jakamassa euforiassaan näitä lausuntoja.

Tähän oli sitten seuraavassa numerossa korjaus, että on esitetty myös vaalipiirikohtaista äänikynnystä. Näistä ei nyt kyllä ole ollut mitään puhetta Helsingin Sanomissa tai Ilta-Sanomissa, lukuvarauksin, siis ei ainakaan pääkirjoituksissa. Ne on tietenkin jätetty tarkoituksella pois, koska niiden pohtiminen paljastaisi juuri koko uudistuksen epädemokraattisuuden. Sanomissa osataan. Voi kai sanoa, että tällainen on päätoimittaja Janne Virkkusen viimeinen palvelus lukijoilleen, tiedon pimittäminen loppuun saakka, sillä tavalla. Netti kuitenkin kertoo tästä härskiydestä, jotenkin vielä luotetaan siihen, että emävalheet menevät läpi kansalaisilta. Voi olla että menevätkin, mutta häpeällistä on kuitenkin käyttää valta-asemaansa väärin ja jättää kirjoittamatta ja selostamatta asiaa kaikilta puolilta.

Jos sitten kansalaiset hyväksyvät asian niin mikäs siinä. Tiedonvälitys on toiminut.

Muistakin piti kertoa, mutta rupesi kylmäämään, takki on heitettävä niskaan ja pipo päähän, joten ehkä tämä asia tuli jotenkin käsiteltyä.

Britain will tomorrow urge the Afghan government to put more effort into the pursuit of peace talks amid fears that the war could be prolonged – and more British lives lost – as a result of incompetence and lack of political will in Kabul.

A speech to be delivered in the US by the foreign secretary, David Miliband, will reflect growing anxiety in London that President Hamid Karzai's professed desire for a political solution has not been backed up by any serious planning or concrete proposals.

Unless more pressure is put on the Afghan government, some British officials predict that Karzai's proposed loya jirga, or grand peace council, due at the end of next month, will be little more than a PR stunt. "My argument today is that now is the time for the Afghans to pursue a political settlement with as much vigour and energy as we are pursuing the military and civilian effort," Miliband will say at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, according to a text of the address seen by the Guardian.

British officials believe that significant Taliban leaders are ready to start talking about a political settlement in which they would sever ties with al-Qaida and put down weapons in return for a role in politics. But there is also concern that opportunities to open a preliminary dialogue are being lost, and that the conflict, which has already cost more than 270 British lives, is being intensified by Kabul's inefficiency and corruption. ...

Four soldiers who were killed when their Snatch LandRover was destroyed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan were "inadequately trained" and poorly equipped when they died, the coroner at the inquest into their deaths said today.

Sarah Bryant, the first British woman soldier to be killed in the conflict, and three colleagues died while helping to mentor police in Helmand province when their vehicle triggered a huge improvised explosive device.

Their six-day inquest heard that their special forces unit was inadequately trained, had the wrong vehicles for the terrain they were working in and were having to deal with a shortage of metal detectors used to trace bombs.

The Wiltshire and Swindon coroner, David Masters, said he would be writing to the Ministry of Defence to try to ensure that such an incident was not repeated. He said he was concerned that the soldiers had been forced to use the lightly armoured Snatch Land Rovers, though their commanding officer had asked for a different kind of vehicle to be made available. ...
